Shipnet needed to outsource their appointment setting in order to save time and enhance efficiency, whilst growing their new business opportunities

The Challenge

ShipNet wanted to deepen their engagement with their existing customer base, migrate their licensing model to one more similar to traditional enterprise software providers, and expand their market share through providing a more flexible delivery model focusing on web based software as a service offering. 

Our Solution

Working intimately with their sales team in Norway we designed a telemarketing campaign which targeted Chartering Managers and CFOs within the maritime industry in the UK, Netherlands, Germany, Italy and Spain. To fulfil ShipNet’s desire for high-quality sales appointments we requested criteria to qualify each opportunity. ShipNet briefed the team on all of their services and by having a detailed understanding of each offering the team were confident in their approach. We delivered 20 days of telemarketing per month for 12 months.

The Results

Within the first two months we generated several white papers and booked 47 face to face appointments. A high percentage of these were converted into new business giving Shipnet an extremely high return on investment.
